|50K of trail bliss. We just add winter to END-SURE a good time (yeah, we are pretty corny...)|
Race Summary: Registration is open
The Sheyenne National Grasslands, just outside of Fargo, ND, is home to an almost exactly 50 km section of the North Country trail, that winds across grasslands, rolling prairie, and the surprisingly rugged 'sand-hills'. After running it last spring, Grant Mehring and I decided it would be a good addition to the END series of events. Of course we had to make it a little tougher, so we set the date as the last weekend of winter!
A winter Ultra! Awesome!

In event of such severe weather, a modified course may be offered on the same day or an alternate date chosen. Registered racers unable to make the new date would be offered credit towards another ENDracing event in an amount equal to 75% of the registration cost. If the event is cancelled entirely due to weather, flood, or natural disaster, all registered racers will receive the 75% credit. In the extremely unlikely event that the event is cancelled for other reasons (lack of participant numbers, for example), full refunds will be provided, of course.
Other details: Although there will be one aid station (major road crossing), racers should be prepared to be self sufficient and will be required to carry a minimum amount of gear (gear list TBA). This gear list may be modified prior to race day depending on weather forecasts and/or actual race day conditions.
Woo Hoo! This is the first time this race has ever been held! Come help set the bar high for future ENDracers!
