My 2017 END Wet swim is to benefit Omaha Children’s Hospital. Check out www.Arlolorenz.com for details and donation information.
I began swimming with the goal of becoming a marathon swimmer to battle my disability. Swimming saved my life, and I now consider my swimming as an act of love. I wrote an autobiography, about the process of getting from a body cast, to where I am now: Saved With Honu is available through Amazon – details available at SavedWithHonu.com. I also founded the SwamThat Race, held ever second Sunday, in September in Okoboji Iowa - Swamthat.com.
